Description
|
The CrimeNtel web application is
an optional add-on for our CrimeNtel criminal intelligence database
system. Its purpose is to allow access to criminal intelligence
data over low-speed lines such as dial-ups, wireless connections,
etc. In addition, the web app runs on a single server with no
need to install anything on the desktop PC, providing a low
total cost of ownership.
It is important to note that the CrimeNtel web application is
not required to run over the Internet. It can be used over your
LAN or direct dial-up/wireless connections.

What's New
Feature
As with CrimeNtel for Windows, the What's
New feature shows the most recently entered intelligence submissions.
Intelligence items displayed are based on the number of days
back designated by the user.
The web application has been designed to look, feel and act
like the Windows version wherever possible. |
 |
The Explorers
As with CrimeNtel for Windows, the web
application provides explorers. Explorers allow users to quickly
find the information they are searching for.
The second screen shot at left shows the web application's subject
explorer where a search for a last name of 'Jones' has been
conducted. |
 |
Intel Submission
Form
The Intel Submission Form displays
the full intelligence record. Linked information appears along
the left, narrative and details to the right.
As new subjects, vehicles, etc. are added,
the system automatically alerts the user if they are already
in the system.

Subject
Folder
This screen shot shows the Subject Folder,
displaying all subject links and personal data.
Address, Vehicle, Group, and Business folders are also available.
They look and function the same as the Subject Folder. |

An unlimited number of images can
be linked to intelligence, subjects, vehicles, addresses,
groups, sources, and businesses.

via digital cameras or existing images files on your network
